Borders between countries have existed throughout time as a means to separate, show dominance, or protect, and continue to play a great role in today’s society. As a result, they remain a highly controversial issue, one that requires extensive and unbiased research. I propose to examine the lasting effect of deportation as a result of strict U.S.-Mexico border policy on the economic, social, and personal aspects of the two countries involved. The argument of how to deal with illegal immigrants for United State citizens is often rooted in nationalistic sentiment and concern over the stealing of jobs. This research will divulge the truth of the matter in an unbiased and factual manner.
